The Chairman’s Badge
The photograph [above] shows the Chairman’s badge for the Financial Services Group of Livery Companies (“FSG”). The badge was generously presented to the FSG on 14 October 2014 by Jeremy Goford, Actuary and founder Convenor of the FSG, established 23 May 2006.
The 24ct gold plated sterling silver badge was designed by Jeremy Goford, Karen Richardson, the current Chairman, and Ian Richardson, the first Secretary to the Group, with Grant Macdonald, Silversmiths and crafted by that firm. The centrepiece of the badge is the hand painted enamel shield of the City of London and it is surrounded by hand painted enamel shields of each of the Livery Companies that are represented on the FSG. The black ribbon that supports the badge carries a lozenge containing the City sword and mace and the words “FSG”.
